Criteria for Nurses Seeking Employment in the UK.
• Should be a Registered Nurse (BSc or GNM)
• Minimum 12 Months of Work experience in any reputed hospital/Clinic
• English Language Proficiency – IELTS with a minimum score of 7 in reading, speaking and listening and 6.5 in writing or OET with minimum grade of B in reading, speaking and listening and C+ in writing.
• Employment Gap should not be more than 6 months

Process Flow for Becoming a Nurse in UK
• English Language Proficiency – IELTS with a minimum score of 7 in reading, speaking and listening and 6.5 in writing or OET with minimum grade of B in reading, speaking and listening and C+ in writing.
• Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Eligibility Application – Create online account and complete the NMC eligibility application. Eligibility confirmation before registration takes up to 14 days. Grafow will help you to complete this process.
• Computer Based Test (CBT) – CBT tests the applicant’s knowledge and skills to practice nursing in the UK. This is an online test and the results are available within 48 Hours.
• Client Interview and Offer Letter – Attend Interview with client arranged by Grafow. Secure job-offer and Certificate of Sponsorship and complete other pre-employment checks.
• Submit Visa Application – Grafow will help the applicant to submit their Tier 2 visa application and to provide biometric details. Application for Visa generally takes 2 to 4 weeks to get approval.
• Emigration to the UK- Grafow will co-ordinate with the client in the UK to arrange for your one-way flight to the UK, airport pickup, temporary accommodation and orientation. We will also assist in collecting your Biometric Resident Permit (BRP).
• Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE) – OSCE is a practical scenario-based competency exam which tests your clinical and behavioural skills. The results are available within 5 days.
• Register with NMC – Submit application for NMC Registration with all relevant documents. Registration usually takes 35 days to complete.
